I understand that this is because no-one is dancing. But I attribute this to the fact that they don't know it as one of 'their' songs and therefore don't feel obliged to dance to it. But then, in a roundabout way, this is because it doens't get played regularly. A vicious circle...
There was a bit when you started playing Bark at the Moon quite often, and people gradually started to dance to it. Perhaps a little scientific experiment is in order? [img]smile.gif[/img]

Strung Out are also my fav band, you cant beat em. I own 5 of their albums, and the drummer is a god, its fast, its furious, and most of all packed wiv tallent. Greatest band.

all i remember from hollywoods was gameface, afi, sick of it all, reel big fish and bowling for soup. five songs in five hours that i could be arsed to dance to.
i dont think this i anything to do wth what ppl like, so much as the fact that ppl this year have been listening to what they "should" like.
ppl are easily influence by the more, lets say........ powerful ( i dont mean that in ay kind of political way, but for want of a better word)
namely, natalie, joe an joe.
ppl are easily swayed, and i have nothing but respect for ppl who will stand up and say "this is what i like, this is what i dont like, its not being closed minded, its being strong minded.
personally, i like alot of stuff, being a musician helps u appreciate alot of thngs, but i am still a punk person, its definitely my favourite.
i do think its fai to say that the ethos behind punk is a much more fulfilling one than the ideology behind what u might call emo, hardcore or whatever, because its about havng fun, and thats the same a life.
